Playing Surface
Artificial Ground (AG) boots are designed for modern artificial grass surfaces. The soleplate features a higher number of shorter studs to disperse pressure, reduce friction, and deliver stable traction while minimising stress on the joints. AG boots are not suitable for firm natural grass or soft ground pitches, as the stud layout is optimised specifically for artificial surfaces and may offer reduced grip or accelerated wear elsewhere.

Mizuno are jumping the queue ahead of the 2026/2027 season with the Serene Spark Pack. A soft, pale blue base with dazzling orange accents across the lineup makes for an aesthetically excellent product line, consistent with Mizuno's legendary brand philosophy. ...
Reebok is reclaiming its legacy with the new Sidewinder Elite After adidas bought Reebok in 2006, Reebok’s football line was scrapped within four years, with its final boot, the Instante II, releasing in 2010. After being sold and freed from...

Sheeeeeesh. Mizuno and Augsburg just dropped another one. The FC Augsburg Away for the 2026/27 season is live, and the story behind it is awesome. It's so common to see football kits that seemingly lack inspiration and heart, but FC...
It's one of the most commonly asked questions we get DAILY. In the age of fancy technology, new colourways and a boot landscape that changes up constantly, football players still care about comfort more than anything. We're massive boot nerds here...

Professionalism shown through purchasing the boots. The boots themselves are very comfortable and are great for wide feet. Giving you a comfortable touch on the ball. I would definitely recommend the boot chef to anyone looking for any boots
I typically wear an 8.5 (Nike, Asics) and had to return my initial pair to reorder an entire size down (7.5) for a proper fit. Would definitely recommend trying them out at a store nearby first, if possible. At the very least, go to the official Mizuno site and have a look over their sizing guide.
The shoe's really light and the touches feel more to-the-foot, which is what I love about synthetic uppers compared to most k-leather boots. There's a bit of toe cramping and a blister or two at first, but the shoes break in pretty quickly.
FG boot but plays okay on turf - noticeable difference in feel when playing on real grass. Overall, an excellent boot - the best I've owned. Would recommend to anyone in the market for a speedboot; didn't run true to size in my case (wider foot) so double check your sizing.
Great boots. Really comfortable and the kangaroo leather moulded to my feet after just a few wears. Shipping was quick too. Very happy with the purchase.
"Best shoes I ever had!"
"So comfy and responsive at the same time"
"Lightweight! Makes me run faster!"
Bought the shoes for my nephew and these are his exact words. Thanks heaps! Another happy customer!
Great comfort on feet. Good materials and build. A little uncomfortable with certain pressure points from the studs on certain toes/areas of the sole of my foot, but generally good. Not as comfortable as an Adidas Copa Mundial - maybe the Elite version might have been better. Still good though, especially if bought at a good price.
Very comfortable. Previously had Mizuno Alpha II Elite, which was great for speed and agility, these are more comfortable on the foot, non restrictive, allows me to preform at my best. These are a great pair of boots.
Take about 10 minutes tops to break in, then so comfy and morph completely to your feet. Incredibly comfortable and no hot spots and passing and shooting feels incredible. Can feel a little bit sticky when dribbling but once you get used it it’s fine.
Great to see proper football boots still on the market. By propper I mean, leather, black, light in weight, quality workmanship.
The only disapponting aspect was me trying to find out if they could be personalised (national flag, initials) and not getting and response.
First ever pair of Mizunos. A baller needs a baller pair of boots, and I knew The Boot Chef was the only place to come. Quick delivery and quality, highly recommend!
