Sheeeeeesh. Mizuno and Augsburg just dropped another one. The FC Augsburg Away for the 2026/27 season is live, and the story behind it is awesome.
It's so common to see football kits that seemingly lack inspiration and heart, but FC Augsburg is the exception time and again. After a hugely popular black/gold third kit last year, they've followed it up with a rich emerald/teal green design inspired by the rivers and bodies of water that define Augsburg.
Mizuno hit the very waterways that inspired this shirt design for a photoshoot led by current Augsburg player #4 Han-Noah Massengo. This isn't his first time behind a camera... scroll through his Insta and you'll see a collection of behind-the-scenes shots, showing-off the life of a footballer, all shot in film.
